1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SyncDialect application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access or use the App.

2. Disclaimer of Translation Accuracy

SyncDialect employs complex artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), and localized machine learning inference to transcribe and translate spoken language. Machine translation is inherently imperfect.

• We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, cultural appropriateness, or grammatical correctness of the translations produced by the App.
• You acknowledge that translations may contain errors, omissions, or misleading interpretations.
• Critical Use: You explicitly agree NOT to rely on SyncDialect for high-stakes or critical situations, including but not limited to medical emergencies, legal proceedings, aviation, or any scenario where a mistranslation could result in injury, death, or severe financial loss.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The App, including its original source code, UI/UX design, architecture, and proprietary assets, is the exclusive property of SyncDialect and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or internal business purposes.

SyncDialect integrates third-party open-source technologies including Google ML Kit, MediaPipe, and Gemma models. Your use of the App is also subject to the licensing agreements of these respective entities.

4. User Conduct

While using the App, you agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
• Use the App in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the functionality of the underlying machine learning models.
• Use the App to translate material that violates local, state, or international laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SyncDialect, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; (iii) any content obtained from the App; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
